3-inch dry-joint exhaust manifold spacer kit referenced to Mercury and Quicksilver 864929A3 (also listed as 864929A 3 and 864929a 3) for 14° warm-riser exhaust arrangements with standard cooling. Fits 2004–2016 MerCruiser MCM V-6 and V-8 (305, 350 and 377 cid) non-EC engines (serial number 0W310000 and up) and 2002–2016 MerCruiser MIE V-8 (350 and 377 cid) non-EC engines (serial number 0M390000 and up).
This is the standard-cooling 3-inch spacer kit; do not use it in place of the separately identified 3-inch closed-cooling version or a 1.7-inch spacer kit.

- Isolate the battery and cooling water supply, allow the exhaust system to cool completely, and drain the manifold and riser cooling passages before disassembly.
- Verify that the exhaust system uses the dry-joint interface, 3-inch spacer height, 14° warm-riser angle, and standard-cooling water routing.
- Clean and inspect the dry-joint mating surfaces on the exhaust manifold, spacer, and riser elbow to ensure they are flat and free of old gasket material or corrosion.
