This is Honda 16700-ZY6-023, the mechanical fuel-pump assembly for larger Honda four-stroke outboards on this SKU (learning file also notes older stamp 16700-ZY6-013 in the same family). Compatible with BF115, BF135, BF140 and BF150 2002–2016 as in the table. It is not 16700-ZY9-013 for BF75 / BF90 / BF100 (25FP601). It is not Yamaha F150 63P-24410 (25FP483). It is not A-generation 16700-ZV5 or D-generation BF40D 16700-ZZ5. A 150 HP badge is not enough.

• BF115 / BF150 four-stroke cranks long when hot, then runs once primed — ZY6 mechanical pump diaphragm tired.
• Fuel smell at the head-mounted pump on a BF115–BF150 cowl, stamp 16700-ZY6-023.
• Not Yamaha F150 63P-24410 and not Honda BF75–100 16700-ZY9.
• Not overheat / no tell-tale: water pump, not this fuel pump.

Compatible with Honda BF115, BF135, BF140 and BF150 2002–2016 in the table. The serial column is a catalog placeholder (1000001 up), not a Honda VIN prefix. Match 16700-ZY6-023 on the pump you remove. BF75 / BF90 / BF100 is 25FP601 (ZY9). Yamaha F150 is 25FP483 (63P-24410).

Engine horsepower alone does not prove fit. Match the number stamped on the pump you remove to the OEM column.

Install

Read BF115 / BF135 / BF140 / BF150 on the cowl. Photograph the head-mounted pump hoses. Replace the gasket, align ports, snug evenly. Prime, leak-check, idle on muffs. If the old stamp is 16700-ZY9, you want 25FP601. If the cowl says Yamaha F150, you want 25FP483, not this Honda pump.
