This is Honda 16700-ZY9-013, the mechanical fuel-pump assembly for BF75, BF90 and BF100 four-stroke outboards on this SKU. Compatible with the three rows in the table (catalog start about 2007). It is not A-generation 16700-ZV5-003 / 16700-ZW1-004 used on BF25A–BF90A (21FP011). It is not D-generation BF40D / BF50D 16700-ZZ5-003 (21FP010). It is not the larger BF115–BF150 pump 16700-ZY6-023 (25FP602). A 75 or 90 HP Honda badge is not enough — read A vs later cowl and the 16700 stamp.

• BF75 / BF90 / BF100 four-stroke cranks long when hot, then runs once primed — ZY9 mechanical pump diaphragm tired.
• Fuel smell at the head-mounted pump on a BF75 / BF90 / BF100 cowl, stamp 16700-ZY9-013.
• Not BF40D / BF50D (ZZ5, 21FP010) and not A-generation BF75A / BF90A (ZV5, 21FP011).
• Not overheat / no tell-tale: that is the water pump, not this fuel pump.

Will it fit?

Compatible with Honda BF75, BF90 and BF100 only, as in the table. The serial column on this workbook is a catalog placeholder (1000001 up), not a Honda VIN prefix such as BBDJ. Match 16700-ZY9-013 on the pump you remove. BF75A / BF90A use 16700-ZV5 (21FP011). BF115–BF150 use 16700-ZY6 (25FP602).

Engine horsepower alone does not prove fit. Match the number stamped on the pump you remove to the OEM column.

Read BF75 / BF90 / BF100 on the cowl and the 16700 stamp before you open the cover. Photograph the head-mounted pump hoses. Replace the gasket, align ports, snug evenly — these Honda pumps warp if over-torqued. Prime, leak-check, idle on muffs. If the old stamp is 16700-ZV5, you want 21FP011. If it is 16700-ZY6, you want 25FP602.
