Signs yours is due

  • R / MR / Alpha One Gen I transom bellows, gasket, or gimbal bearing are due together and the chart calls for 30-803097T1 / 18-2601 / 18-8213.
  • You almost ordered Gen II or Bravo because the listing only said "Alpha One" or "transom seal kit" — stop; confirm Gen I + 30-803097T1.
  • You need only one rubber part — divert to the matching single CSKU instead of this full kit.
  • Divert: Gen II → GH 17B3007 / 23BK211. Bravo → GH 18B5001 / 23BK209. Sister Gen I kit CSKU → GH 17B3005.

Install tips on the Gen I transom kit

Full Alpha One Gen I transom overhaul. Cold engine; disconnect battery; support and remove the drive per the service manual.

  1. Confirm OEM 30-803097T1 and Gen I identity (not Gen II / Bravo) before opening the kit.
  2. Photograph orientation of each bellow, hose, bearing, and gasket; compare carton contents to your drive.
  3. Remove the drive and replace kit items in the service-manual order for Gen I.
  4. Use adhesives / expanders only where the Gen I service manual requires them for that bellow.
  5. Reassemble, then check for water leaks before returning the boat to service.
