Which pump is this?

MECHANICAL LOW-PRESSURE DESIGN: This engine-mounted diaphragm pump uses crankcase pressure pulses to drive a plunger, diaphragm, return springs and check valves that move fuel from the boat tank toward the carburetor. It is not an electric in-tank pump, not a high-pressure EFI pump, and not the water-cooled pump used on earlier Yamaha 9.9 models. Similar-looking pumps from other Yamaha families are not interchangeable.

REPLACE THE COMPLETE PUMP: Intended as a complete-pump replacement for symptoms such as fuel in the crankcase oil, a rising or gasoline-smelling oil level, stalling when throttle is applied, a primer bulb that will not stay firm, or external fuel seepage from the pump body, after the rest of the fuel path has been checked. The package contains one fuel-pump assembly only; the mounting O-ring, fuel filter, hoses, clamps and bolts are not included unless pictured by the seller.

If the old pump number cannot be read, send the engine model, year and a photo of the original pump before purchase.

Q: Will it fit my 2005 T9.9? A: No. The 2000-2007 T9.9 (FT9.9D) uses the 66M-24410 pump family. This pump fits T9.9 from 2008 onward (FT9.9G/L). Match the original pump number.

Q: Will it fit my Yamaha F6? A: Only F6A models listed in official records use this pump. The F6C uses the 67D pump family. Check the pump number on your engine.

Q: Is 18-35304 the correct cross? A: No. does not catalog this pump family; 18-35304 maps to the 67D family.
